Khloe Kardashian Shares Before-and-After Photos of Facial Injections After Removing Tumor
View Date:2024-12-23 22:05:55
Khloe Kardashian is getting candid about a procedure she had done to her face after removing cancerous tissue in 2022.
The 40-year-old explained the need for her facial fillers, sharing several photos of the sizable indent on her right cheek.
“As a result of the surgery, and the tumor my incredible doctor removed, I ended up with an indentation in the side of my face,” Khloe shared on Snapchat Oct. 11 alongside an image of her altered facial composition. “I waited 9 months after surgery to get the indentation filled.”
As for why the reality star left the indent for so long, she explained, “We had to make sure medically everything was safe and my doctor gave me the go ahead.”
Khloe—who shares daughter True Thompson, 6, and son Tatum Thompson, 2, with ex Tristan Thompson—shared before-and-after images of her facial indent following one round of the filler injections.
She also posted an image of her heavily bandaged up face following the procedure.
The Good American founder first opened up about her face tumor on social media in 2022, revealing that she noticed a small bump on her face that didn’t go away after seven months and got it biopsied.
Revealing she previously had melanoma on her back at age 19, the mother of two monitored the situation closely and had doctors remove the tumor.
She also documented the process during the third season of The Kardashians, noting the doctor had to remove a larger chunk than originally planned. Khloe later urged fans on social media to be “consistent” with their skin cancer checkups.
"I never imagined that this tiny spec would turn into skin cancer,” she wrote on Instagram in 2023, “And I can't fathom what could have possibly happened had I not gone to the doctor to get it looked at.”
