View Date:2024-12-24 00:02:07
How you like that: Tom Brady is a Blink.
The retired quarterback got a taste of pink venom on Aug. 11, when he took his and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen's 10-year-old daughter Vivian to see Blackpink at MetLife Stadium in New York City. As seen in an Aug. 16 Instagram Story, Tom was decked out in a white tee, black baseball cap and matching joggers as he and Vivian met up with Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rosé backstage.
"New gig in retirement," he joked in the caption. "Thank you for the hospitality and kindness."
Tom was also spotted up in the audience area at the sold-out concert. In a photo shared on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, the former NFL star was pictured staring hypnotically at the stage while surrounded by fans of the K-pop group.
"This is the most 'dad takes his daughter and her friends to a concert' picture ever taken," he quipped, leading the NFL to re-share the image on Instagram with the caption, "@tombrady was the ultimate dad at the @blackpinkofficial concert."
The Blackpink outing comes shorty after Tom celebrated his 46th birthday with a family vacation to Africa. Joined by Vivian and 15-year-old son Jack, who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan, the birthday boy an "incredible trip" that included a safari tour.
"It was another special reminder that life is TRULY about relationships and memories," he wrote on Instagram Aug. 8. "I couldn't imagine growing up as a boy in San Mateo that my life would become what it has… I've experienced quite a bit in the first 45 years I have lived, and what I have loved most is the people who I have shared the most life changing events with….my children, my family, my loved ones and friends and all of you have added so much to this incredible/adventurous life."
He added, "To wake up to sunrises and untouched parts of our beautiful planet, to witness these animals in all their glory, to see how different people can live with true joy and happiness continues to bring me great lessons in learning."
